The size of the livestock house is generally considered by one person managing a pig house. In order to facilitate natural ventilation in summer, the single-column type (single-column circle) is mostly used in the south; the north emphasizes keeping warm, and the double-column type is mostly used. At present, in order to protect the environment, countries and regions with high population density are no longer inclined to expand the scale of pig farms. Pig farms are large and manure handling is difficult. This should be noticed early in our country.
The geographical location is different, the climatic conditions are also different, and the insulation and heat preservation, ventilation and cooling systems of the livestock building are also different. Although the principle and purpose of insulation and heat preservation, ventilation and cooling in livestock houses are the same. But the selling price of pork, the price of building materials and energy is different and must be adapted to local conditions. While maintaining barn temperatures in the proper range is beneficial for pig growth, construction costs and benefits should also be considered.
